Moreover, there are no added colours or flavours to the medicine. They are safe to administer in children, pregnant women, senior people as well as immune compromised individuals and people with a weak constitution. Homoeopathic medicines come in a variety of forms i.e sugar pellets, liquid drops and tablets. Homoeopathic pills are sucrose based i.e sweet to taste and are very much palatable. Children take these medicines willingly and do not make a fuss over taking medication. The pills have to be kept in the mouth sucked and allowed to dissolve so no water is required to swallow them. Moreover, the size of the pills are quite small so there is no gagging while swallowing the medicine. As for liquid form, one can take it by adding a few drops of medicine in a tablespoon of water. As regards taking homoeopathic medicine, one is expected not to drink or eat anything 15 minutes before and after taking the medicines and avoid anything with a strong odour or taste.
